At Quirk Books, Brett Cohen is resigning as President and Publisher after twenty years with the company. Founder and owner David Borgenicht will return to his previous role as President. Jhanteigh Kupihea has been named Publisher and will lead the creative group. Monika Hewlett has also departed her position as VP, Director of Sales.

Christopher Hohns joins DK as VP, Commercial Finance, North America. Previously he was Co-Chief Transformation Lead at Arvato Supply Chain Solutions. At Knopf, Daniel Halpern joins as Executive Editor on July 1. He founded Ecco in 1971 and was President and Publisher of the imprint until becoming Editor-at-Large last year. Larry Mallach joins Penguin Random House as Executive Director, Inventory Management, Adult; he was previously Senior Director, Demand & Supply Planning and Inventory Management at Hachette Book Group. HarperCollins Focus is launching a new Nashville-based imprint, Harper Muse, to be headed by VP and Publisher Amanda Bostic. The imprint will publish three titles in 2021 and seven in 2022.

Effective March 1, Baker & Taylor Publisher Services handles warehousing and fulfillment for World Book, Inc.

Simon & Schuster distributes Artists Writers & Artisans Studios and AHOY Comics effective March 1. S&S will sell and distribute Leaders Press beginning April 1 and distribute Vault Comics beginning May 1.

Ingram’s Two Rivers Distribution has added four new client publishers for Spring 2021: Platform Books, LifeLines, G Editions, and Girl Friday Books.

The Scribd Audio imprint has officially launched after releasing forty audiobooks. Titles are exclusive to Scribd subscribers for three months and then distributed broadly. The line focuses on books from independent publishers without their own audio divisions.

Audiobook producer RBmedia has announced an exclusive deal between its Christian Audio brand and Christian publishers InterVarsity Press, P&R, and 1517 Media.

Dreamscape Media and Turner Publishing Company have announced an exclusive multi-year audio agreement including production and distribution of Turner Publishing’s audiobook titles, as well as audio rights to titles from Turner imprint Keylight Books. Dreamscape’s audiobook adaptations of Turner’s titles will be available beginning this month.

Maria B. Campbell Associates is now US scout for Poland’s Marginesy Publishers, with Maria B. Campbell Associates UK serving as UK scout.
