SVP of finance and publishing operations for the HarperCollins US General Books Group, Len Marshall will retire on June 16.
Maribeth Casey and Barbara Blasucci left Hachette Book Group last week as part of the voluntary resignation benefits program. Carol Meadows, Denise Atkinson, Celeste Aiello Gordon, and Linda Jamison left HBG last week as well. Kara Brammer has joined Hachette Books and Hachette Go as associate director of marketing. She was at HarperCollins.
Senior vice president and managing director of global publishing at Wattpad Webtoon Studios Ashleigh Gardner will leave the company at the end of May after a decade with Wattpad.
Sydney Rogers will join as a literary agent at Idea Architects on June 1. She is currently executive editor at Harper One.
Daniel Berkowitz joins Bookshop.org as advertising sales director. He was previously Founder of AuthorPop.
Abby Endler has joined Vintage and Anchor as marketing manager, reporting to Lauren Weber. She was previously in publicity at Knopf.
At Tor Publishing Group, Stephanie Stein has joined as senior editor, acquiring adult science fiction and fantasy. She was previously at Harper Children’s.
Sophie Cudd has joined The Book Group as associate agent, dividing time between Nashville and New York. She was previously an assistant and agent trainee at WME. She will build her list in both adult fiction and nonfiction as well as select children’s picture books.
Hellie Ogden has joined William Morris Endeavor in London as co-head of the books department. She was at Janklow & Nesbit UK. Lucy Balfour has also joined WME as an agent. She was previously a scout at Louise Allen-Jones Associates.
Senior editor Lizzie Davis, associate editor Zoë Koenig, and publicist Daley Farr have all resigned from Coffee House Press. A staff of seven remains.
At W. W. Norton, Metadata operations manager Caroline A. Hayes has left the company.
Colette Burke will join WH Smith the board as a non-executive director on July 1. She is EVP and COO of the LEGO Group.
Chelene Knight will step away from her role as agent at Transatlantic Agency to focus on her writing career and her literary coaching business, Breathing Space Creative. She will remain involved with the agency on a freelance basis and as the internal programs designer.

Lawyers for Simon & Schuster and bestselling author Bob Woodward have filed two new motions to dismiss an amended $50 million lawsuit filed by former president Donald Trump, which alleges that Woodward and S&S breached Trump’s copyright interests by publishing The Trump Tapes: The Historical Record.
Authors and illustrators represented by Jordan Hamessley at New Leaf Literary & Media were informed that Hamessley had parted ways with the company and that they would no longer receive representation as a result. The Author’s Guild stepped in to help resolve the dispute.
